Deb Hendricks, MSN, ARNP-C, OCN

Deb’s diverse health care background began in 1974 as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. Deb earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa in 1983 and worked in surgery, home health, ICU and administration prior to beginning her specialty career in oncology with Cancer Care Associates in 1993. Prior to graduate studies, Deb worked in the Bartlesville office as a clinic nurse and nursing supervisor. She received her Masters of Science in nursing from Clarkson College, Omaha, NE and is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She has been oncology certified through the Oncology Nurses Society since 1997.  Deb plays an active role in the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, serves on the cancer committee at Jane Phillips Medical Center, and participates in other community activities related to care and support of cancer patients, cancer survivors, and their families.

Deb will see you for follow-up appointments, symptom management and support, to clarify information and provide education for you and your family.  As a nurse practioner, she will work closely with your physician, including prescribing medications, ordering and interpretation of lab values, x-rays and other radiological studies, and will always keep your doctor informed and up to date on your condition.  Deb has a special interest in education and symptom management including survivor care.
