Abby R. Bova, MD

Dr. Abby Bova grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and graduated from Bishop McGuiness High School. She then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Dallas in 1996. There she competed on a NAIA Division II basketball team and studied abroad in Rome, Italy. She returned to Oklahoma City where she attended the University of Oklahoma and received her medical degree. She completed her three-year internship/residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. After residency, Dr. Bova continued at the University of Oklahoma to complete her combined fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology. During fellowship training, she participated in research on T-Regulatory cells in pancreatic cancer patients. Dr. Bova is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board certified in Medical Oncology.   She is board eligible in Hematology. She accepts new patients in medical oncology and hematology and practices at Cancer Care Associates at the Lake Hefner, Mercy and Enid offices.

In her spare time, Dr. Bova enjoys water sports, snow skiing and indoor soccer.
