James E. Reeves, Jr., MD

Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Dr. Reeves received an undergraduate degree in zoology from the University of Georgia and a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed an internship, Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Dr. Reeves is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He has served on the boards of the Louisiana Oncology Society for five years and the American Cancer Society for seven years. Licensed in Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma, Dr. Reeves has conducted research activities covering the uses of Amicar for the treatment of acute leukemia cancers, and Interferon for the treatment of malignant melanoma and myeloma.
