Mark R. Olsen, MD, PhD

Dr. Olsen received an undergraduate degree in biology with honors from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he was awarded a post-graduate grant for cancer research. He received a doctoral degree in Oncology from the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research at the University of Wisconsin, and a medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School.

Dr. Olsen completed his Internal Medicine residency, a three-year fellowship in Medical Oncology and a two-year fellowship in Neuro Oncology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Olsen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He has co-authored many articles and abstracts and has given presentations and lectures on various topics including cancer prevention, breast cancer, gastric lymphoma, brain tumors and chronic myelogenous leukemia.
