Michael J. Keefer, MD, FACP

Dr. Keefer was born in San Bernardino, California. He received an undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his post-doctoral training at Oklahoma Teaching Hospitals in Oklahoma City, where he was an intern, resident, and chief resident in Internal Medicine. While there, Dr. Keefer was also a fellow in Medical Oncology.

Dr. Keefer is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. He serves as a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and as chairman of Oncology at Mercy Health Center. Dr. Keefer is a clinical investigator with the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) and National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP).
