Sherri L. Durica, MD

Dr. Durica received undergraduate and graduate degrees in biology from Texas A&M University, where she graduated magna cum laude for her undergraduate work. She received a medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she graduated with honors.

Dr. Durica's postgraduate training included an internship and residency at the Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas, and a residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

In addition, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical trials funded by a National Research Service Award through - National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institute of Health. Dr. Durica is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. She has given many presentations, authored numerous articles and served as principal investigator for independently funded clinical trials on deep vein thrombosis.

Dr. Durica was clinical assistant professor in the Hematology/ Oncology section at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
